Previews

Hi,
I am in the process of learning how to use Pixinsight and I am using the excellent videos of HarryAstroshed.
However when I come to creating some previews I cannot do so. All I can create is some preview in the top right hand corner. I don't know how to create the preview free hand on the picture.
Could someone point me in the right direction.
Many thanks for your help.
Vince

Click on the "New Preview Mode" button in the main toolbar. It is next to the navigation buttons (zooming, panning and moving). Then, just draw the preview rectangle by clicking on the image and dragging the cursor.

Also, shortcut keys are "alt-n" (on a Windows machine at least).  You'll get cross-hairs to draw the preview on to the current image.

Welcome to the "light side" Vince - hope you and PI have a long happy relationship   :)
