Annoying PI API error
« on: 2012 January 26 05:40:28 »
See screenshot.

If press "Apply" button on PixelMath (have not checked with other processes) when Process Concole is open and active with outputting log from previous process then this annoying error message will be shown. Another mouse click to close it with "Ok" button will be needed. Annoying.

Such "impossible" events from UI - could they be ignored or put in the row to be processed when Process Console will disappear?

Thanks a lot,
    Yuriy

I can't reproduce this problem. Can you provide more information, or a small project where this issue can be reproduced?

A low-level API error means that a module is trying to perform an illegal operation while communicating with the PI Core application. These errors should never happen with standard modules. We cannot ignore them because they always indicate dangerous situations, such as a module that is behaving erratically for some reason (which can be external to PixInsight).

I've attached archive with test image and saved process.
Apply attached PixelMath for the first time and then - for the second, when Processing Console is still open.
I can get mentioned error on almost any image with this PixelMath.
Thanks,
