Hi,
I tried ACDNR for the first time today and forgot to check the Lightness Mask.
The resulting image looks much better than my best effort so far with HDRMT.
It has about the same level of detail, but the details are far easier to follow visually.
It isn't just smoother, it has far better tonal contours in the chrominance.
Can anyone offer more information on this? The image is HaGB, if that helps.
I've read about ACDNR's edge detection, and I'm no expert with HDRMT, but
I am surprised. ACDNR seems *very* good at contrast management, in addition
to the usual noise reduction.
Thanks,
Steve
