PI doesn't work on my Sony Vaio Notebook with Win7-64

Hello,
I tried to install PI on my notebook Sony Vaio with Win7-X64 OS for several times. At last I tried with the newest 1.7.... version, downloaded yesterday.
Installation works fine. But after call PI there come an error message (look at "errorTest.jpg"). I also attached the referenced files of the error message, except "WER6D54.tmp.mdmp" cause this file is to large to post.
Have you a tip, what the problem can be?

Hi Manfred,

So you're getting a 'StackHash' error (look on the XML file). A quick Google search shows this page with rather interesting information:

This is the first time I see this error happen with PixInsight, although I already knew the StackHash thing. What I can ensure you is that PixInsight does not execute any data at all, so DEP (Data Execution Prevention) cannot be the problem. The only reason I can figure out is that your computer's RAM is not working correctly. Basically, when the executable image is loaded from disk into RAM something is lost and/or modified. This may be due to a variety of causes: a defective memory chip, overheating, electrostatic charges, ... Do you have the same problem with other computer(s) ?

Hi Juan,
thank you for your answer. I already thought, that this is not an easy to solve problem...
On my desktop computer with win7-64 PI works perfect.
But if a defect RAM is the reason, it is strange that all other applicatons on the Vaio works perfectly.
I will try to find a RAM checker program.

Memtest was O.k.
But I got a new Windows update today and now it runs!!!!
