NGC7133 with 12"ACF f 2,7m
« on: 2011 December 04 11:44:27 »
Hi

a small reflection nebula in Cepheus, the little brother of the Iris Nebula.

Taken with a 12"ACF f 2.7m Astrodon true colors,  only 5x600" each channel.
Processing : darks, flats, bias, > calibration>integration>registration >>
LRGB > DBE > Colorcalib > HDRW>Histo > ACDNR >> Photoshop.

NGC 7133

I am quiet happy with the PI processing with this short exposure time  :)

Edmund,

Lovely picture that you've created there!
Congrats! You must have a collimation secret for obtaining such sharp results  :o
Clear Skies!!

Hi Lex

not at all, my 12" ACF is very stable concerning the collimation.
I think the temperatur monitoring of the robofocus is important to ontain a "potable image" :)

Ahh those lovely Robofocusers!
It is a nice part of equipment! Are you using a Crayford focuser?
I am asking because i own a C11 and I do not use it anymore because of its bad collimation stability...
Everytime I see it in my observatory i shake my head  :yell:
Clear Skies!!
