Unable to Save a Project
« on: 2011 November 10 08:00:23 »
Today when trying to save a project get error message(see attachment) and project fails to save. First time I've had this problem though there have been several updates since I last tried the Project save function. Need help to fix this.

Unfortunately a known problem, see http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=3572.msg24645#msg24645:( The source code has been fixed, but the fixed module has not yet been distributed by Juan.

Hi Steve,

While I release an update with the latest version of the GradientDomain module, here are two workarounds that will allow you to save your project:

- Uninstall the GradientDomain module. Right-click on PI's workspace and select Manage Modules. Double click the GradientDomain module item to turn the green checkmark into a red crossmark and click Done. Restart PI and the module will be uninstalled.

- When you save your project, uncheck the 'Include interface states' option (Project Generation section). This will allow you to save a project with images, icons, histories, etc. *except* the states of all process interfaces (usually a minor problem).

Hope this helps. I'll try to release the update real soon.
