I have downloaded a script, PreProcessPipeline.js, and would like do add it to Pixinsight, but have not been able to figure out how to do it.

Under the menu Scripts, select Feature Scripts
Click on Add and locate your script. Press Done when the script has been added.

Philip,
I tried that, but, when I located the script, it was greyed out. Hmmmm?

I think I remember having the same problem a while back... It may have to do with where the script is currently located or if it is executable...
Have you tried to run the script (menu: Script | Execute...) within PI or Check Script File Syntax...
Or create a new directory. My added scripts are in the main Applications folder in a subfolder named Astronomy.
I'll try to remember how I solved my problem...

Philip,
Creating a new directory did it. I think what I was missing was that the add window that pops up is asking for a directory, not a ***.js. Many things in PI are a little different from the norm.
Thanks,
Bruce

Ah yes... now that you mentioned it, I remember: PI wants a directory. Glad I was able to help.
