Option + key doesn't work

The Option + shortcut key does not work. The Option - and the Option 0, does.
This is in both version 1.6.9, 32 and 64 bit on the Mac.

Ops, I mean the Command + short cut does not work. I always get my Command and Option Mac keys mixed up.
