Updating to 1.6.9.652 failed

"The server says:BAD AUTHENTICATION"

I use the user and password of http://dist.pixinsight.com/

I tried without firewall but no success.

Hi Sergio,

Please try again. I've just checked it with your user name and password, and it works without problems.

Could be a temporary shutdown of our server. Also, make sure you don't copy any whitespace characters at both ends of your user name and password. There are editors and email clients that add nonprintable characters when you select text with the mouse. Better double-click on the text to select it.

also it is a good idea to select all but the last letter, and enter it manually :)
