1.6.1 error during ImageCalibration
« on: 2010 July 29 11:18:43 »
When running through a stack of DSLR raw images (using MasterBias and MasterDark), I get the following error for each image:

"File Format Implementation: ExtractKeywords () must be reimplemented in descendant class"

This happens just after the Console message "Loading raw image: 100%", it pauses to let me choose to continue, and then finishes the calibration tasks.  It doesn't seem to effect anything (I don't think) other than forcing me to acknowledge the error for each image (time consuming for a stack of 30 images!)

Hi John,

This is a confirmed bug in the ImageCalibration module included with PI 1.6.1.

This bug is innocuous. The workaround is easy:

- Open the Pedestal section on ImageCalibration.

- Select: Pedestal Mode = Literal value.

- Enter the desired pedestal value. If you set it to zero (the default value), no pedestal will be applied.

This bug will be fixed in the next version (in September). Sorry for the inconvenience.

(Note: I'm moving this thread to the bug reports board)
