Yes, there are known issues with ATWT and RTP. This is not actually a bug, but a limitation. Generating an accurate preview of ATWT is very difficult when the preview image is significantly smaller than the original, as usually happens with RTP. Improving the real-time performance and accuracy of ATWT is in the to-do list.
Reduced RTP's of ATWT are quite accurate as long as you only change bias parameters. Noise reduction is also quite decently previewed if you don't use very aggressive parameters. Deringing parameters are not previewed correctly, and noise thresholding is not previewed at all.
You have two options for previewing ATWT accurately:
- Use actual-size RTPs. In general, this means that you should define previews of relatively small dimensions and select them in RTP.
- Use previews, not RTP. This is the recommended option (not just for ATWT, but for most processes, actually).
