Active window

Hi

Probably not a bug but it bugs me  >:(

When I applied a process to a image I very often zoom in on the image using the keyboard shortcut, with the latest version the image does not seem to active after I have applied a process and have to reselect it with the mouse to use the keyboard shortcut , not critical but drives me potty

Hi Harry,

My feeling is that the WHOLE of PI 'loses focus' at the end of the application of a Process - with the Taskbar icon flashing 'orange' at the bottom of the screen.

I think that this might explain why your 'image' has to be 'clicked' to send keyboard commands to it - you are actually bringing focus back to PixInsight itself.

Is anyone else seeing this sort of behaviour?

(Oh, and remember Harry, you can Zoom in and out with the mouse ScrollWheel, and you can 'PAN' the image with the ScrollWheel pressed whilst moving the mouse)

Cheers,

Hi Niall

Yes I forgot about the flashing orange thing  :surprised:

I do know about the mouse thingy , but some times I use my laptop and got used to using the keyboard  ;D

I am.  It makes sense for PI not to lose focus after applying a process.
Since I don't see why this could be a "feature" I do believe it's a bug.

Yes, this is a confirmed bug. I'll fix it in 1.6.1. Sorry for the inconvenience.
