Hi,
Typically, there is some noticable delay (freeze), say 1...2 seconds, between the moment when the last log message from just completed process has shown up in Processing Console and the moment when "busy" cursor will dissapear and it would be possible to do some next action in PI.

It seems short but - it's annoying if you would like to process with console ON to see processing log.

Is it possible to speed up console a little bit and eliminate that 1..2 seconds freeze of PI after the real processing has been done?

or (as it happened often), please, direct me to configuration setting to minimize that freeze.

Win 7 Ult x64, pi1.5.9.561

Regards,

Hi Yuriy,

This is strange behavior; it should not happen and I can't see it on any of our testing machines. I'll try to investigate this issue. Be sure that we'll fix it, if not in 1.6.0 as it is now frozen for release, we'll try to address and fix it for 1.6.1.

Anyway version 1.6.0 introduces several improvements to the console. For example, console scroll bars are hidden during process execution. This is an enhancement because the scroll bars are relatively slow widgets for screen redraws, and they obviously provide no useful functionality while a process is running. I hope this and other improvements will yield a more pleasing experience.
