I cannot find the answer to this but there is the little orange line that sorta sets the right hand limit of where images get re-arranged.  Every time I rearrange images the line goes way to the right and over where I have all my process icons stacked neatly....

Can I superglue this sucker in place so it does not move??

but i think jerry's question is that the line seems to be resetting its position all on its own, rather than what the line is supposed to do...

I was sort of hoping that if Jerry had a full description of its operation then his problem might have gone away.......

Edit, tried this on my system and all seems OK, it doesn't move for me

Rob has it right, I know what this line is supposed to do but every other time I use it by arranging/tiling some new images, it just moves almost over to the right where I have all my icons....  Then I have to move an image to find the orange line again, move it life then resize and they image go to the right spot.

This is a brand new workspace where I just loaded 3 new images and while cropping them the orange line moved to the right all by itself.  Now if I tile the images, they overlap my icons.

Sorry but this is just a distraction and a minor but irritating PITA.   >:D

This is a standard Dell official 4K monitor and it does the same on another 4K TV monitor, so it is not the display.

by the way, this is a per-workspace setting so maybe jerry is switching workspaces and finding the line in a different place? that's normal.

Moves still for me... a minor but recurring PITA.  Is there perhaps a setting somewhere that fixes this sucker in place?

Hi, still does not stay put.  When I start-up it is about 10% from the right side and I move it to about 25% to see my icons. Then later it just wants to move back to 20%.  This is a 4K screen.  I'll check the rescaling options.
