MaskedStrech help
« on: 2009 October 06 05:07:29 »
Hello everybody!

I think this is my first post, though I have been reading the forum since long time ago.

The question is about the script "MaskedStrech". I use it whenever I want to strech a image, but when I have a big star I am not able to avoid it growing too much; the star always finishes spoilt (like a fried egg)

Any tips, please?

Thank you very much for your help

BTW I miss a section for newbies ;)

Sorry this question has not been answered yet.
I have not used the script so I can't help

Hopefully, the new Wiki can be used to answer these questions.
I would be good place for adding an examples of the scripts

I don't like the results of that script in most of my images... so I hardly use it. I guess that the key to avoid such artifacts is to use a large number of iterations, so the image brightens smoothly. This, by the other hand, yields an image with less contrast, or some opaque stars... you need to find your trade off point.
