A couple of weeks back someone posted a work around for removing stars on linear images, I think using PixelMaths before running StarNet++.........but I can't find the post.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

i tried it and it does work but the results are slightly less good without the black point raised as a normal stretch would do. still it is worth trying.
