Next time we see stars, probably not until the New Year with the current weather patterns in the UK! I will change dithering to RA and DEC. Strange thing is, I have not had this problem before. Seems like something has changed and gone unnoticed. Image Calibration screenshot attached

Although the problem remains unsolved, I wanted to show the power of Pixinsight.

I added a further 23 Ha subs to the pot and the attached images show the result. The image is made from 47 subs 240s each. When the image is expanded significantly in size some black blotches can be seen in the background, but at normal sizes, see attached, the image looks.
