Installed the WBPP update but script isn't in the menu
« on: 2019 November 19 16:26:32 »
I did the update today to pick up the WBPP script and it says it completed normally. I restarted PI and the updates were applied. But, it's not in the batch processing menu on the scripts menu or anywhere else.

If I go to resources / updates / view installed updates, I see this in there:
Package type : Script
Title        : WeightedBatchPreprocessing script version 1.4.1 (update)
Repository   : https://pixinsight.com/update/1.8.8-1/
File name    : 20191119-1-script.zip
Release date : 2019-11-19 00:00:00
Install date : 2019-11-19 20:25:43

So, PI thinks it's installed. I also see it in /Applications/Pixinsight/src/scripts/WeightedBatchPreprocessing on the fijesysstem.

Any ideas of what I need to do to get it to show up?

Thanks!

Hi,

you should find it under Scripts->Batch Processing->WeightedBatchPreprocessing.

That’s where I expected to see it. But, it isn’t there.

If you open the Script -> Feature scripts do you see it in the list?

No, it isn’t there. Can I just do an “add” from there and point it at he the directory in the installation where the script is living?

maybe it should be a workaround, unless it will try to copy the files over themselves which will raise an error I guess

I gave that a try and it seemed to work. The script is in the menu now. Hopefully this was a one time fluke and not a problem that will recur on each update.
