PixInsight 1.8.7 (x64) crashing

Hello,
I have been attempting to create a master bias, but PixInsight keeps crashing at some point during the process.  I come back to check, and PixInsight is no longer running.

The machine is a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 series 2-in-1 with an i7-7500U CPU and 16 GB RAM.

I copied the following from the event log:

Update ...
I tried to repair the installation, but the crashes still occurred.  I confirmed that ntdll.dll did exist.  So, I then uninstalled and reinstalled PixInsight 1.8.7.  This time everything worked without a problem.  After I confirmed that, I reinstalled the updates (Oct 02?), and still no problems.

So far all is working.
