I was invited by Al Degutis to come talk at MWAIC '10 in Chicago. Clearly a privilege and I'll do my best to properly represent PixInsight. I hope to see some of you there!

Hi, I think Al recorded earlier MWAIC conferences and sold DVDs with the videos. I haven't seen those myself though.

I think I have a good slot, right before lunch. The morning coffee has kicked in and people will be awake, ready to go to lunch. It's also early in the conference so people aren't beaten down yet

So I'm doing my rehearsals and of course I have way too much material. I'll have to prune it significantly. The good news is that should some other conference want me to do a talk I'll have some fresh slides to insert

And to think I thought I'd run out of material before the time is up! Nuts.

Phew! Presentation was this morning and if audience response is any indication (it is) it went quite well. It was nice to meet Max and other PI users in person. In fact I was pleasantly surprised how many people there we using PI.
