Barnard 84 dark nebula

This pic is one of the dark nebula identified in a photographic survey by E. E. Barnard. It is a dense interstellar cloud that obscures the light from objects such as stars or bright nebulae lying behind it. These dark clouds contain minute dust particles, coated with frozen carbon monoxide and nitrogen, which effectively block the passage of light at visible wavelengths. The whole area of the image is in an extremely dusty area of the sky, which leads to a marked reddening of the image

Thanks Rodd. It’s 3 hours data through 12.5” Planewave. (1 hour each of R, G and B)
