Is there a repository of all the scripts? When installing new versions some scripts seem to be missing.

Can you be more specific? Which scripts are missing after installation?

Ahh i think i understand what the person is saying..
im currently looking for new scripts to add to my 1.8.8-3 software.
specifically wanted to try the "auto script" set.
where do i download these from??
The website really isnt set out too well.. id assume extra download material would be with the software downloads! of course not! ::)

Generally if the script was not loaded at installation time then they will be scripts developed by other developers and not PI, you will have to download these scripts from the third party, i.e. http://www.skypixels.at/pixinsight_scripts.html

Have a look at this site....is this what you where after?

http://www.clickdesignsoft.co.uk/autoscript/

BTW these scripts have nothing to do with PI developers, they are third party

Thankyou very much for educating me! I had no idea scripts were produced outside of PI development team!
Is all this safe? Does PI pass any developments thru checks?

Ill take a look at that link for auto scripts, thankyou!
I saw someone using it with fairly good results and wanted to try it out...

All the scripts are written in Javascript which is perfectly safe, Javascipt has no mechanism for attempting to mess with your system, and no PI do not normally validate 3rd party developments.
