Cannot activate 1.8.6

I am a licensed user of Pixinsight, using 1.8.5. I downloaded 1.8.6, uninstalled 1.8.5, installed 1.8.6 and tried to get a new activation code. I get an error message: "invalid user credentials". How do fix this? ...Lane Davis
