I suppose that this is one of the major advantages of PixInsight. First a new release is developed and tested as much as is practical, then it gets released into the wild. Of course, now there is several orders of magnitude more 'testers' who will start using it.
Not all of these 'new testers' will see, or do, things the way that the design team has expected. And so 'bugs' may arise. Fortunately for us, the PI team can respond very quickly to these 'bugs' and sub-releases will appear very soon after the main version upgrade.
The best that you can do is to keep abreast with these developments here on the PI Forum, read the comments, and choose the upgrades that you want.
