DSE Error
« on: 2009 July 09 22:27:25 »
I spent time working through the tutorial for the DSE script.   It looks great.   When I try to execute the script against an image,  I get this error:

Code: [Select]
run -x=auto /Users/ozy/Downloads/DarkStructureEnhance.js

Processing script file: /Users/ozy/Downloads/DarkStructureEnhance.js

RGBWorkingSpace: Processing view: DSE_mask2
0.007 s
*** Error [000]: /Users/ozy/Downloads/DarkStructureEnhance.js, line 72: ATrousWaveletTransform.layers(): too many table columns (row #0).

I am executing this against a greyscale image.  I tried converting it to RGB and the same error occurs.   I'm using OSX 1.5.2.

Thx

Ah, looks like the script needs to be updated for the new Atrous.

Hi Ozy,

Welcome to PixInsight Forum!

Please use the DarkStructureEnhance script that comes with the PixInsight distribution (select it from the main menu: Script > Utilities > DarkStructureEnhance). The script source code that you downloaded from the tutorial page is not up-to-date.

Some updates to the ATrousWaveletTransform process broke compatibility with older versions since PixInsight version 1.5; that's why we included an ATrousWaveletTransformV1 process, which the DSE script uses now.
