Working with DBE Symmetries?
« on: 2009 July 09 13:45:00 »
To all,

I'm trying to flat-field the Milky Way image I posted in late May.  Given that it was taken at such a low angle, I believe Symmetries are the way to go since the gradient was caused by the thickening atmosphere rather than light pollution.  The framing of this image is about 4 degrees offset from the true horizon.  First, what symmetry should I use (e.g. H or D)?  Second, how do I input a 4 degree offset from the true horizon?  I assume, I will need to use this offset for each point.  Right?  Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Wade
