Using the BatchPreprocessing Script
« on: 2018 November 26 12:12:10 »
Hi folks,

I wonder if you can put my mind at rest over something?

I have just run the BatchPreprocessing script with bias, darks and flats but looking at the FITS header for one of the lights, I *think* it is telling me that the flat calibration didn't take place - have I read this correctly?

The line that concerns me is:- ImageCalibration.masterFlat.calibrate: false

I have attached a screen dump showing more of the header and would appreciate your comments.

Many thanks,

Steve

that means that ImageCalibration (which is what BPP is running behind the scenes) did not bias or dark subtract your master flat before applying it to the light. which is how BPP works - it makes a calibrated master flat so re-calibrating it at light calibration time would be a mistake.
