Adam Block’s Pixinsight Fundamentals and Horizons
« on: 2018 August 31 17:45:16 »
I recently purchased Adams video instructional series on Pixinsight Fundamentals and Horizons. I am a beginner when it comes to Pixinsight and have been trying to learn the program. I have always felt frustrated because never felt sure if I was using the processes correctly and if my workflow was correct. I had viewed other tutorials and they were excellent, but still left me unsure.
Adam’s tutorials were a breath of fresh air and my confidence in using Pixinsight rose. Not only does Adam show what to do but also why, and how to solve problems one may encounter. I live in the city of Detroit, so imaging is a challenge and by extension so is processing the image data. I ask Adam if he would like some of my data to process in Pixisight to see how to process data take iin the middle of a big city. He thought others who image other than at dark sights or ideal suburban sights would benefit. This personal approach by Adam is outstanding.
For beginners and intermediate imagers it is an excellent series. Although it costs to obtain the videos, it is a small amount considering the money I have invested in equipment. I highly recommended it.
Adam is also available for questions to problems you might have. I know Adam is a contributor to this forum.
I apologize if I offend anyone by this post and I hope it is appropriate. We are all trying to learn pixinsight and this is an excellent venue for those just starting out.
Thank you,
Ed Stuckey

Thanks for the honest review Ed. I've been using PI for a few years now and still feel there is much to be learned. I may give this series a try.
