Mapping HA into R Channel
« on: 2018 June 24 21:35:19 »
Hi,

I found a discussion in an old thread on the same subject and when I apply the suggestions I get a red image. Is that normal? To do this I go into ChannelCombination and select RGB color space and then deactivate G and B channels. I then load the image into the R channel and apply.

Thanks for letting me know what else am I not doing.

Farzad, I've been using the NBRGBCombination script. Have you tried that for getting Ha into Red Channel?

No, I have not. I will look into the scripts when I have corresponding data on the RG and B channels.

Thanks

Better try the EmmissionLineIntegration script by Hartmut Bornemann.
You can get it here  http://www.skypixels.at/pixinsight_scripts.html
