Poject question - history is not being saved

Hi all

It seems PI is not saving the historical steps of my work.
I tested this again today to make sure I wasn't missing something, but history is not being saved.

Having started down the path from 'random click-and-see-what-happens' I always assumed (from reading posts on here) that historical processing was saved so I could step back at anytime.

I can't see anything obvious in Global preferences, so have I missed something somewhere?

how do you know that the history is not being saved?

i have never seen this happen...

Are you saving a project or just reloading a previously processed image and expecting it to come with history included?

Well it seems I DIDN'T save the project before!!

I have just tested again, in the process of answering your posts, and it did exactly that. Saved the process icons, and the history!

Note to self to check and double-check that I have saved!!!
