Please clarify CatalogStarGenerator resolution field

The reference documentation specifies the units for resolution field as ("/px), i.e. inches per pixel. The example at https://pixinsight.com/doc/scripts/ManualImageSolver/ManualImageSolver.html
shows 100"/px for that field. Is this an angular measure based on the focal length or is it meant to be sensor resolution?

The units are arcseconds (not inches) per pixel.
