Hello, people-

Lately I've been trying out the Local Fuzzy Histogram Htperbolization script.
I load a B&W image and run the script using the default settings. After
a while, a rendered image as I would expect it appears, then then the console screen
locks up, showing "image quality" and "local contrast", blank space after these lines.
It still says "running". I get no further response even after waiting quite a while.
I need CTRL-ALT-DEL to get moving again.
Is this  script very very slow, or or is this a script lockup problem?
I am using Win7 64 bit with an AMD A-10 CPU and 32G RAM.

Thanks

James

Has anyone else experienced the Local Fuzzy Histogram hangup I mention above?

I really wait a LONG time, its not that I'm giving up easily. The intermediate result I geet looks really good. But I can't use it!

Thanks,
James

It's not obvious when the script has finished running. Try pressing the exit key once the LFHH image has been generated.  It has never hung on me though it looks like nothing is happening when it is finished.

Thank you, RickS

You are of course correct. I haven't yet found a way to cleanly end the script and continue with my processing, the exit key does not always seem to work. Sometimes closing the script defaults window does the job after a few moments. It's hard to read this one  :surprised: O:)

This is a really good script, FWIW. Seems to help most everything.

Sorry, I meant the exit button on the script dialog.  It works 100% reliably for me.
