Format output in image calibration
« on: 2017 December 16 11:24:50 »
In image calibration I insert all the files in xisf format, but they are saved as fit. How can I set the output format as xisf?

Thank you

Giulio

Giulio,

Click on the "Edit" button on the top left, then click on "Global Preferences".  About 5 items down, you will find "File I/O Settings".  Click on it.  There, under "Default Save As image file extension" change the file type to ".xisf"

That should do it.

Best,

Jim

Thank you Jim,
I checked "File I/O Settings" and "Default Save As image file extension" is set to ".xisf" already! So there must be something else to set up.

The same happens with "star alignment" : input is xisf, but output is fit!!

see this thread: https://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=11945.msg73455#msg73455

if you are using an old process icon to launch ImageCalibration the output format can be set to fits but you can not change it back in the GUI. solution - stop using the old process icon and make a new one.
