Photometric Calibration - Failure to plate solve image

Hi,

whenever I try to use Photometric calibration I receive the error message "Failure to plate solve image". When I try it with the script "ImageSolver" with exactly the same
parameters Plate solving works.
If I use PhotometricCalibration right after I run the Script ImageSolver it works.

A friend of mine experiences exactly the same issue.

Any ideas? I would like to run Photometric Calibration without running ImageSolver before.

Why? PCC uses ImageSolver to solve the image but ImageSolver gives more parameters. Also, if you solve the image with ImageSolver then you can run/undo PCC many times to test different options without having to solve the image again. If you let PCC to solve the image, when you undo and run PCC again the image is solved again.

Problem solved!

I had to check the boxes "Force Plate Solving" and "Ignore Metadata". Then it works.
With these 2 boxes unchecked it does not work in my case
