The ArcsinhStretch docu does not mention masking. Is this meant as a recommendation of not using masks in combination with ArcsinhStretch?
Peter.

Peter, it's meant as a primary stretch from linear to nonlinear. Typically, we'll not want to mask anything when doing this (HistogramTransformation, etc.). Try it! You'll find that like MaskedStretch (which does use internal masks), it compresses and therefore preserves highlights, with no need for a mask.
Best always, Warren
