Nice go, Harry.

Just for the sake of experimenting, could you try to find the correct settings with the local support (use the automatic one, default settings), and compare it to the result you achieved with the masked one?
I think that the edge protection should be the same, but the strength will be too high.
Regards,

Many thanks for this new video! I applied it quickly on a previously discarded image and it made a world of difference!
I may take something out of this for a future italian video, if you don't mind... :)

Keep up the good work Harry, I would not be able to use any of PI if it wasn't for you. Your vids are short enough to take it all in plus the little bits you put in are teasers to tempt us to go further. Once again, Good job.

While IP4AP has excellent and very complete information, the delivery of the narrative is so slow and deliberate that is becoming very distracting and annoying in my mind.

Harry, your videos not only deliver the goods but do so in a way that is much more entertaining as well and keeps one's attention focused much better.

The only other YouTube series of videos on PI that I have found that come close to your level are those by Jason Brown.
Between the two of you, any relative newcomer to PI (like myself) should get up and running in no time at all.

i suggested to warren that he find an embedded flash player that can do time stretching, but i think he didn't understand; he suggested the user find such a player. that kind of doesn't work unless you download the video.

anyway if you look at coursera or edX or whatever, they have video players that can time stretch and they work pretty well. if the narrator/professor speaks too slowly, just speed up to 1.25x or 1.5x or whatever and you're good.

Hi

Always happy when people find the tuts of use  8)

I believe warren deliberately does his narrative carefully so non native English speakers are able to follow him

a difficult balance to be had  :o  , some people find my ramblings hard to follow  >:D
