Hi

As I have never used a dark , I have not really got into PI calibration  :surprised:

I was going to do a tut with the new Pipeline which was undergoing development , but this seems to have stopped  :o  I do hope

it does get finished as it does need a tut  ;D

Harry

Harry,
Thankyou very much for all your great tutorials on PI.

Although there is a huge amount of tutorial information on the PI website, your video tuts have been instrumental in getting me up to a level with PI where I can begin to get some pleasing results from my images.

I have just looked at you latest tutorial on building Mosaics and just like your other tutorials, this will be a great help in my learning process. So again, I thankyou.

At the risk of being a bit cheeky  ;) it would be really great if you were ever inclined to make a tutorial on the process you use to create your Dark and Flat calibration frames as this is an area where I continually struggle.

I have used the information available on the web site and although helpful in getting me started, some additional guidance in the form of a tutorial along similar lines to your other video tuts would be a huge help.

Again, thanks for all your great work.

Cheers,
Luke

We are working on a new series of video tutorials that will cover this topic, among many others. The first two videos will be released at the end of August, and we'll continue the series during next Fall and Winter. So just be a bit patient ;)

Harry,
I'm just getting started with PixInsight this week and your tutorials were the first place I went for assistance. Well done, easy to understand and they got me through my first set. I would encourage you to continue with the new ones. Thanks for your help.

Hi

A simple one for today the " Local histogram equalization" tool

This seems to be a underused tool which give your image more contrast , Really gives a image a huge lift particulary usefull after HDR wavlets  :D

More in the next few days

Hi Harry
More than one year ago, I was searching for a good software for astro-processing. Your tutorials (among some others) mainly influenced my decision in purchasing PI - and I still do not regret it  :D  And I'm still looking forward to seeing more tutorials.    :)  :)
