I am trying to compare a single frame with the stack of 31 frames. So I have properly stretched the single shot and saved in PNG, and I have properly aligned and then stacked the 31 frames, stretched the master and saved in PNG without any cropping. I select both in Adobe Bridge to check the difference in quality.
On the stacked master, the loupe has to be set to 400% in order to match the 100% magnification of the loupe on the single image. This is very odd and I have tried the Bridge on other images and don't see this problem.
Has anyone ever heard of something like this?
