LRGBcombination or Channel combination
« on: 2017 September 10 07:05:50 »
Hi

I have been using right/wrongly Channel combination to put together my LRGB's selecting the Target file as LUM and it has produced some reasonable results

since 1.8 the Channel combination seems to be missing the Target option that usually appeared at the bottom of the list that I have used many times , the documentation for Chan com shows the missing "target" field. this may have changed during update to ver 1.8.5.1353

I do have mono LRGB files open on the workspace and they all seem to be valid

I can see there is a "new" LRGBcombination and guessed that this may be what we now have to use , but I seem to be getting poor results Ie mono nebulosity "ringed" starts.

I'm using 1.8.5.1353

Can anyone advise or confirm if the "target file" has infact been removed ?

Regards Trevor

Not sure why you can't see it but is in the Windows version 1.08.05.1353.

Actually re-reading the message I see what you're asking but I have always had this process show with just the R< G< B channels showing. I'll combine the RGB masters for my RGB image and then open that saved image plus the luminance and use LRGB Combine Process with only the L checked and drag the triangle onto the RGB image creating the L+RGB image.
