Hi all,

Three years ago, three friends, Julen, Freddy and me, we spoke about the solar total eclipse in US. 18 years from 1999 Romania where I saw my first and only total solar eclipse till now, I am 39 years old, so enough waiting time for want to trying repeat it again. Late in 2016, I started in to moving to get the trip to the solar eclipse. The trip ended in Glendo (WY) seeing the total eclipse. Our "eclipse-center" was Cheyenne with easy access interstate highways to West, to North and to East direction. It was a great pleasure our stay in Cheyenne, great people there and can say that I will have great remember about Cheyenne and its people. Nice to meet up with Larry in Denver and all people in Glendo at Lakeside RV Park.

did you stay in glendo after the eclipse? we made the mistake of getting on I-25 immediately after totality and spent 8.5 hours going 100mi south to cheyenne...

Hi Rob,

We made the same mistake. Once eclipse ended we went firstly through 318 where we stood for over an hour and half. We spent 7.5 hours into arriving to Cheyenne. I know that some people spent in traffic jam 11h to reach Denver (CO). WOW !!
