RAW Calibration problem
« on: 2017 August 19 00:59:51 »
I have been unable to batch process Raw files since the New update of PI 1.8.  Image Calibration does not work either with Canon RAW.  Results of calibration indicate insufficient data to star align.
Calibration does complete but there is virtually no date in the image despite the lights images being of high quality.
I have been able to stack these images without image calibration so what is wrong?  Any suggestions welcome.
This has always work seamlessly in the past.

Anyone else have this problem

Hi Peter,

I cannot reproduce this problem. Calibration works without problems with Canon raw files; I've just checked it. Are you using the ImageCalibration tool directly? A common mistake is subtracting the bias signal twice, which cuts out most of the main histogram peak on every frame.

If you upload a set of raw frames, we can try to understand what happens. Without test data, I cannot help you further.
