Drizzle Integration not working as before
« on: 2017 August 08 06:47:42 »
My usual process for drizzle is not working as before. Usually I run the ImageIntegration adding the Drizzle files. I see that you can now add L.Norm file. I don't generate or do that. Once the InamgeIntegration is done, I open drizzleIntegration, add the drizzle files and try to run (as I usually did before). Again, I don't Add L.Norm files. Now I get the following message for each file (also see attachment ).

* Parsing drizzle data file 54 of 54:
N:/SRO files/20170807/registered/H/SH2-135_H2-S001-R001-C025-H_c_r.xdrz
Loading image:
Z:/SRO files/20170807/calibrated/light/SH2-135_H2-S001-R001-C025-H_c.xisf
*** Error: Z:/SRO files/20170807/calibrated/light/SH2-135_H2-S001-R001-C025-H_c.xisf: No such file.
*** Error: No image could be integrated.
<* failed *>

OK, I am doing something obviously wrong. What is it? It's asking for the calibrated files, but I don't see an opportunity to add them to the DrizzleIntegration. Advise would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Eric

Hi.
Drizzle Integration is working ok. I have integrated with new version 1.8.5 on M 101 and is ok.

Maybe you have miss something.

I am obviously missing something. Just don't know what that is. What exactly is your process?

Hi.

Here is how i have made this.
First step, i,m using script batch preprocesing, and add flat, bias, dark, and light, after all proces is done,  in folder generated by Batch Preprocesing. You have some image, step by step.

Well I did a little more experimentation. Initially I used the preprocessing script to generate the registered and dirzzle files. This time I took the calibrated files and registered them with the staralignment process and let it generate the drizzle files. Then ran imageintegration and finally drizzleintegration. That seemed to work.

It would be interesting to know exactly why the later worked the the former didn't.

Since the update, I've had to re-register and integrate images multiple times because of this.  Frustrating when you're stacking 150+ images and it takes all night.  I don't know what the issue is, but I'm having it with you :(

Hi Eric,

The .drz files refer back to the original calibrated data files, not the new ones created by the registration process.  You'll get this error if the calibrated files have been moved or deleted.  Did you check to see if they are still there in the original folder?

Cheers,
Rick.
