Weird colorchannel artefacts with LRGBCombination
« on: 2017 July 31 07:12:55 »
I have RGB data from a modified dslr and monochrome (luminance) data which I'm trying to combine. When I register the RGB image to the Luminance with distortion correction it says it's succesful with 0.000px residue.

However, if I split the RGB image and try to combine it with the Luminance via LRGBCombination I get 'shifted red rings' for bright stars and it seems part of the nebula is shifted in red as well.
In the bottom left corner I see Blue stripes that seems to be shifted (in other direction).

Anyone who can understand what's going wrong here and what I can do differently?

ok.. problem solved: registration model was still on Projective. Using 2d surface splines did the trick.
