Console hangs with !cmd -c

I’m running Window 7 Home Premium. I realize the correct console command is:

  !cmd /c dir

But PixInsight Core 01.08.04.1195 Ripley (x64) hangs when I accidentally execute the following command from the console command line:

  !cmd –c dir
