OBJECTIVE RESULT EVALUATION
« on: 2017 January 17 23:38:33 »
dear sirs,
i have a little question.
when i apply processes on linear image such as Background Neutralization, DBE, Color Correction, i can visually check and evaluate achieved result by using STF function.
is there any objective method (maybe numerical one), to evalute the result compared to the original image?

i hope i've been clear in my request.
thank you for your time.

Rino

I'm not sure what you mean, but if I understand correctply, you can always use the sampler to evaluate individual pixel values (or group of pixels if you set the sample size). You can also use the Image statistics or have a look at the histogram (compare RGB histograms).

Hope this helps,
Wim
