Hi,

as you may know DeepSkyStacker can produce registered versions of all frames as it's processing them. The extension is .reg.fts (not sure about the .fts part but that's not relevant to the problem). PI thinks blah.reg.fts is a .reg file and can't open it. Instead it should look for the last '.' and use that to figure out the extension.

I should add that I was reminded of this issue while watching the second star alignment tutorial video where it talks about how important extensions are :)

Yes, this is a known problem. I'll fix it in the next version, of course. Thanks for pointing out.
