I'm just getting involved in both Narrowband bicolor Imaging and in using PI. I'm taking the Warren Keller tutorials but was wondering if you experts here had advice on any preprocessing you might do for the individual mono frames in the linear domain before combining (I'm using PixelMath - very cool!)? Or in channel ratios? I'm combining Ha and O-III in a 15%/85% ratio for the G channel but the reds e.g. Horsehead Nebula seem too orange even after Hue adjustment in CurvesTransformation). Any tips/guidance appreciated!

Thanks

If you're not already doing it, using LinearFit to match the Ha and Oiii masters before combining can be helpful.  If you just want to adjust the reds after combining, try the ColorMask script: http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=7751.0

Cheers,
Rick.
