Saving Changes
« on: 2016 October 27 08:36:37 »
If I modify, say, Multiscale Linear Transform values and want that to be the default for future use I have been saving it as a project which is unwieldy. There must be a simple way to do permanent changes that remain if PI is closed and relaunched...

Thanks,

Tom

you can save some or all of a set of process icons, and then either load them (erasing all other process icons saved, which generally is not a good idea unless you have just started up PI) or "merge" them with the existing set of process icons on your desktop(s)

Rob,

Sorry, I don't follow. How will this allow me to open MLT the next time I launch PI and have it with the parameters I entered prior?

configure MLT
drag the process icon to the desktop
save process icons
quit pixinsight
start pixinsight
load process icons
double click MLT process icon

MLT is now loaded with the state contained in the saved process icon.
