Automation of DBE
« on: 2016 October 12 17:31:47 »
Hi Guys,
I am putting together, in a huge mosaic, a high number of frames from ESO (> 500).

Unfortunately the observations have been down under a 60% moon light ( >:( ) so each of them presents some annoying gradients.

What I thought to do, for avoiding such a big amount of manual work, was to use "Process Container" calling DBE for all my images.
This approach obviously didn't work because the DBE sample values varies from image to image.

Exactly this line:
P.samples = [ // x, y, radius, symmetries, axialCount, isFixed, z0, w0, z1, w1, z2, w2

I was wondering if via script it would be possible to compute them runtime for all my images.

If no alternatives...I will have to go for manual clicks  :'(

Thanks!
Cheers.
Roberto

Hi Roberto, try ABE in one of your images. If it works you can use it with ImageContainer.

Hope this help

Saludos, Alejandro.

I was trying ABE right now with different parameters but I wasn't able to get to same (good) result as DBE!

Edit: it seems that I found out the right parameters to get very near to the DBE result  :)

Thanks a lot.
Cheers,
Roberto
