System exception during dynamic crop

Hi to everyone

I have the same problem. Tried all suggestions descriebed.
One or two days everything works fine, and now – even I want to make a new preview – the system exception occurs.

I'm new with PixInsight and I want to learn this great software!
Does anyone has an other suggestion?

I’m running PixInsight on a 5k Imac on a native Windows 10 Installation.

I think, I found a solution; I read it in the "Dell"-Thread:

I disabled multiplatform file dialogs in PixInsight 1.8.4.1185: (EDIT > Global Preferences > File I/O Settings > Use native file dialogs, then click the checkbox disable.

I am glad to know it's working. Just out of curiosity, why are you running PixInsight on Windows on an iMac machine? PixInsight works better and more reliably on macOS (or OS X) as a native macOS application.

Thanks for your answer.

First, other software, I own runs exclusively under Windows.
And secondly, I'm responsible for the entire system running on Windows, in the company where I work.

I bought the iMac just over a year ago because of the good 5k display and the good value for money in Switzerland. I have never had any problems and now PixInsight is running around again.

PixInsight convinces me very much; If there is also much to learn! Thank you for this masterpiece of Software!

I ran into this "feature" while traveling.  I could set the resolution of the PI set-up to 150% and it fit my high-resolution Dell M5510 laptop.  The auto gave me the error.  The 150 fits the laptop perfectly.
